How to Deploy a New SIP Phone?

There are two ways to deploy a SIP Phone. Both methods start with creating an extension, and then continue to device creation and deployment.


Method 1: Deploy During Extension Creation

Step 1 — Create the Extension

  1. Navigate to Extensions.

  2. Click Create New Extension.

  3. Fill in the required extension details.

  4. Click Add Extension.

Step 2 — Choose Device Type

After saving the extension, a popup will appear with the following options:

  • Softphone

  • SIP Phone

  • No Device

Select SIP Phone.

Step 3 — Add SIP Phone Details

A Device Add popup will open (same form as the standard device setup).

Fill the required fields:

Device Info

  • Model

  • Device Serial Number

  • MAC Address

  • Template Model

Lines

  • Server Address

  • Label

  • User ID

  • Password

Click Add Device.

Step 4 — Deploy the Device

After adding the device, you will see a popup with a Deploy Device button.
Click Deploy Device to complete provisioning.


Method 2: Deploy From Devices Section After Creation

Step 1 — Create the Extension

  1. Navigate to Extensions.

  2. Click Create New Extension.

  3. Fill in the form.

  4. Click Add Extension.

Step 2 — Add the Device Manually

  1. Navigate to Devices.

  2. Click Create New Device.

  3. Fill in:

    • Device Info: Model, Serial Number, MAC Address, Template Model

    • Lines: Server Address, Label, User ID, Password

  4. Click Add Device.

Step 3 — Deploy From Device List

After saving, the system will return to the Devices list.
You will see your newly created device with a Deploy button.

Click Deploy to provision the device.
