Manual Speed Dial Configuration

Method 1 — Configure Directly from the Phone

Step 1 — Select the Key

  1. Press and hold the desired DSS / Line Key for 2–3 seconds.

  2. If prompted, enter the administrator password.

Step 2 — Configure the Key

  • Key Type: Speed Dial

  • Label: Contact or extension name.

  • Number: Extension number or external phone number.

  • Line: Select the SIP account (if applicable).

Step 3 — Save the Configuration

  1. Press Save or OK.

  2. Return to the home screen.

Step 4 — Verify the Speed Dial

  • Confirm the label appears beside the programmed key.

  • Press the key to verify it automatically dials the configured extension or phone number.

Note: This method is available only on supported phone models and firmware versions. Some devices may require administrator permissions or have this feature disabled.


Method 2 — Configure from the Web Interface

Step 1 — Access the SIP Phone

  1. Connect the phone to the network.

  2. Find the device IP address from the phone screen (Menu → Status / Network).

  3. Open a browser and enter: http://<IP_ADDRESS>

  4. Login using admin credentials.

Step 2 — Open DSS / Speed Dial Settings

  1. Navigate to DSS Keys, Line Keys, or Programmable Keys (menu name may vary by phone model).

  2. Select the key you want to configure.

Step 3 — Configure the Speed Dial Key

Configure the selected key using the following settings:

  • Key Type: Speed Dial

  • Label: Contact or extension name.

  • Value / Number: Extension number or external phone number.

  • Line: Select the SIP account (if applicable).

Step 4 — Save the Configuration

  1. Click Save or Apply.

  2. Allow the phone to update the key configuration.

Step 5 — Verify the Speed Dial

  • Confirm the configured label appears on the phone display.

  • Press the programmed key.

  • Verify the phone automatically dials the configured extension or phone number.
